Like many “seasoned” typists, I have fond memories of using the original IBM computer keyboard. It was built like a battleship and had a satisfying mechanical action when you hit the keys. So I bought an Azio USB Mechanical Backlit Keyboard that’s similar to the original IBM. But it was way too noisy to take notes during Zoom calls — another unintended consequence of meeting remotely during the pandemic.
I recently switched to the Logitech MX Keys Advanced Illuminated Wireless Keyboard for Mac. Here’s why it’s become my favorite keyboard:
- Just the right amount of resistance for precision typing
- Quiet for taking notes during virtual meetings
- Illuminated for use in dim lighting
- Can pair to three different computers or mobile devices.
Highly recommend.
