When I finally received my new gold-colored iPhone 5S, I was surprised that:

1. The color didn’t look gold to me. It looked nothing like my gold wedding ring. It was much lighter.

2. I didn’t even realize the edges were the same gold color until I looked at a photo on the Apple website showing all three colors stacked together.

3. If you buy one of the leather iPhone cases from Apple, it completely hides the gold-colored back and edges.
